This dataset is based on ECMWF ERA5-Land imagery and generates annual soil moisture data for the Mongolian Plateau from 2015 to 2020 by averaging yearly. The spatial resolution is approximately 9 km, and it is uniformly projected in WGS84 (EPSG:4326). The data can be used for drought monitoring, water balance analysis, ecological environment assessment, and land degradation studies.
