This dataset is derived from field-based vegetation sampling surveys conducted in 2016 and 2017 in the typical steppe of the Mongolian Plateau. It provides the spatial locations of vegetation sampling points and key observed indicators, including community characteristics and biomass, and can be used for remote sensing retrieval validation, vegetation change analysis, and ecological effect studies.
