This dataset is derived from household interview surveys conducted in 2021 in East Ujimqin Banner and West Ujimqin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. It provides the spatial distribution of pastoral household survey points as well as information on pastoral livelihoods and socioeconomic characteristics, and can serve as a fundamental data source for studies on pastoral livelihoods, human–environment interactions, and sustainable development of grassland regions.
